• What is Zaara Box

Zaara Box is a quarterly style subscription box that we curate especially for Muslim women. We offer 2 types of boxes - the standard Zaara Box and its 'Petit' version. The products featured in the boxes range from exclusive silk shawls, hand-curated matching jewelry, Muslim-friendly skin care products, make-up, stationery and unique home accessories. Each Zaara Box aims to provide you with a different experience as you discover a new selection of products with each shipment.

  • Zaara Box subscription cost

The subscription rates of a Zaara Box differ based on the type of box that you select.

  • Standard Zaara Box: $65 every quarter; $255 every year

  • 'Petit' Box: $45 every quarter; $177 every year

These rates exclude shipping costs and only reflect the prices in Singapore Dollars (foreign currency is subjected to currency exchange rates)

  • Difference between Zaara Box & the 'Petit' version

The standard Zaara Box features 4-7 products and gives our subscribers the full Zaara Box experience. A standard box will contain a featured silk shawl, 2-5 other products (i.e. accessories, stationery, skin care products etc.), and an artisanal product. The 'Petit' version will feature only 1-2 other products of which are the same ones featured in the standard version. The 'Petit' version is just a small taste of what the full Zaara Box experience is like. 

  • Collaborations

We are always on the lookout for new and unique products to include in Zaara Box. If you offer exclusive and uniquely stylish products and would like to discuss product placement and brand collaboration, please contact us at itisthebox@gmail.com. Please note, we hold ourselves to high standards for the brands and products we feature. 


  • Billing

You will be billed as soon as you subscribe. This billing date will be your renewal day and you will be billed on this same day every quarter/ year. We currently have 2 subscription plan options - quarterly or yearly. 

  • Quarterly: You will be billed once every 3 months. For example, if you subscribed on 15 May 2018, you will not be billed again until 15 August 2018, then 15 November 2018, and so on.

  • Yearly: You will be billed once every year. For example, if you subscribed on 15 May 2018, you will not be billed again until 15 May 2019, then 15 May 2020, and so on.

After you subscribe, you will receive a confirmation e-mail directly from Zaara Box. 

Please note that for International Orders, taxes, import duties, and other brokerage fees are not included in our product prices or shipping costs. As different countries have different additional costs, it is the recipient's responsibility to check with their country's customs office to determine if there are any additional costs. These additional costs (if any) will be borne by the recipient. 

  • Shipping schedule

We ship 4 times a year - in January, April, July, and October. Shipping takes place 3 weeks after your order is placed. Once sent for shipping, it usually takes 2-5 working days for your box/ parcel to reach you for deliveries within Singapore, and 7-30 working days for international orders. Once your box/ parcel is sent, for delivery, you will receive an update along with a tracking number (if you opted for Registered Mail/ Collection Point). 

  • Upcoming shipments

Orders for Zaara Boxes made between 16 June - 31 August 2018 will be shipped between July - September 2018. 

Orders made after 31 August 2018 will automatically be under the next shipment.

These shipping costs are only for weight limit of below 2kg. For shipments beyond the weight of 2kg as well as other additional charges (i.e. taxes, import duties, brokerage fees etc.), they will be calculated separately and will be borne by the recipient. 

  • What if your box/ parcel does not arrive?

An update will be sent to you via e-mail/ SMS (Singapore deliveries only) once your order has been sent out for delivery. As your box/ parcel will be delivered by a third party carrier, Zaara Box is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. We deny all responsibility of the products as soon as they leave our warehouse. Any dispute or claim must be resolved between the recipient and the third party carrier. 

  • Return & Cancellation Policy

For damaged good(s) upon delivery, please provide clear proof of damaged good(s) via e-mail within 3 days upon your receipt of the box. We will notify you on the procedures to make the returns. Returns should be made within 2 weeks upon our acknowledgement. Returned goods are exchangeable for other items of similar value. 

Cancellations should be made any time before the next renewal date and before payment is made. There are no cancellation fees. However, if you cancel after your renewal day, you will still be charged for your next box(es) (based on the subscription plan that you have opted - quarterly or yearly).

In the event that any of the items are no longer available, we will indicate an Out of Stock message on the product page. However, in some cases, if you have placed an order for an item that appears to be available, when in fact it is not, we will notify you immediately and you will not be charged for that item.

Please note that all sales are final and there is strictly no refund.
